One Dead, Two Injured In Personal Watercraft Accident

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – One person has died in a personal watercraft accident off the shores of Miami.

Two additional people were severely injured in the accident that happened on Sunday afternoon.

According to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission, the watercraft hit an ICW Marker.

The accident took place near Picnic Island.

One of the surviving patents is in traumatic arrest and the other one has a severe leg injury.

Both patients were transported to the Sea Isle Marina and then ground transported to Ryder Trauma Center.
