One Dead In Miami Gas Station Shooting

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- One man is dead after a shooting broke out at a Miami gas station early Saturday morning.

Miami Police said it all happened at the UGas station located at NW 48th Street and 17th Avenue.

The man was shot and killed during an apparent robbery, according to police.

The gunman or gunman got away and are still at large.

One man who heard the shooting spoke about what he knew about the investigation.

"I don't know if they were attempting to rob the filling station or rob a customer," said Columbus Stafford. "They had a red vehicle that was taped off...you could see keys on the ground."

Stafford said it isn't the first time customers have had to deal with crime at the station.

"I come here to buy gas all the time and I live in the neighborhood," said Stafford. "This place has been robbed especially customers several times in the past.
