One Dead After West Park Crash

WEST PARK (CBSMiami) -- Deputies are investigating a deadly crash which happened in West Park Friday morning.

According to deputies, Evelyn Streater-Tisdale, 66, died after a Dodge Caliber slammed into the passenger side of the car she was in, at the intersection of  20th Street and 42nd Avenue.

Tisdale's sister was driving a Chevy Lumina, west on Southwest  20 street with Tisdale in the passenger seat. While they crossed the intersection of 20 street and  42nd avenue, the car was struck by a Dodge Caliber driven by  Scarlett Herrera, 21. Herrera's car was headed south on 42 Avenue with Ricardo Ruiz, 21, in the passenger seat.

Broward Sheriff's Fire Rescue took all four of them to Memorial Regional Hospital where Tisdale was pronounced dead.

Ruiz, Herrera and Dottie Streater were treated for minor injuries.
