Kelly: 'Highly Doubt' Parker Will Be More Productive Than Matthews or Stills in Year 1

Will first-round rookie wideout DeVante Parker be ready for Week 1 at Washington?

"You give him an extra week," the Sun Sentinel's Omar Kelly said on the Joe Rose Show. "I watched him run routes after practice and maybe he was running routes at a slower speed... He was trying to work on his routes and his cuts and his breaks and didn't look like he was ready to play football to me. I just know Joe Philbin and know his medical team and know how they work and the minute he starts running full speed, add an extra three weeks on it and that's when you'll be able to see him play.

"I know you want to see him play but I highly doubt that he's gonna be more productive than Rishard Matthews or Kenny Stills but I understand how people want the rookies or draft picks -- they need DeVante Parker to be good. But trust me, Rishard Matthews has balled. Kenny Stills has shown you what he can do in the NFL and those are technically your fourth and fifth receivers."
