NFL Players React To Stedman Bailey Shooting
Bryan Altman, CBS Local Sports
On Tuesday St. Louis Rams wide receiver Stedman Bailey, 25, was shot twice in the head while he was riding in a car with members of his family in Miami. The latest reports have indicated that Bailey is in the hospital in stable condition and his injuries are "non-life-threatening," and is undergoing surgery Wednesday.
As the news of the shooting began to circulate, teammates and fellow NFL players reacted with shock and prayers to the news on Twitter.

In the car with Bailey at the time of the shooting was a male driver, identified as Antwan Reeves, along with another unidentified passenger and two minors. The minors and the third adult were reportedly unharmed but the driver sustained "life-threatening" injuries and is currently in critical condition at the hospital.
Police are searching for the suspected shooter who they say drove a light-colored, four-door sedan up next to Bailey's vehicle before opening fire.
Bryan Altman is, for some reason, an unabashed fan of the Rangers, Jets and Mets. If he absolutely had to pick a basketball team it would be the Knicks, but he'd gladly trade them for just one championship for either of his other three teams.
