New Q-Poll To Measure Governor's Race

MIAMI (CBSMiami) --  A new Quinnipiac University poll is set to be released Wednesday indicating who may be taking the lead in Florida's gubernatorial race.

The Connecticut-based Quinnipiac frequently conducts polls in Florida and other states.

In July, Quinnipiac released a poll that showed Democrat Charlie Crist with a narrowing lead over Republican Gov. Rick Scott.

Some newer polls, including a poll conducted in late August by the University of Florida's Bob Graham Center for Public Service and UF's Bureau of Economic and Business Research, showed Scott leading Crist.

The News Service of Florida contributed to this report.
