Nantz: Ryan Tannehill Among the NFL's 'Upper Echelon' QBs
Ryan Tannehill's fan club is swelling among NFL Insiders.
"I think the contract is something that's really good and the fact that the franchise is committed to him," CBS NFL announcer Jim Nantz said on the Joe Rose Show. "I've seen enough games of Ryan Tannehill to know that he definitely can throw the football up there with the upper echelon of the NFL. Believe me, when you're sitting with the type of view that you and I have on a Sunday when you watch guys throw it. There are a lot of teams that don't have a quarterback anywhere as close to being as good as Ryan Tannehill. You can see it, see the way he operates. You kind of just have to eyeball it in person.
"I'm excited. That division is very important to us at CBS as the AFC East is such a big part of what we do with the AFC network. I'm glad they hitched their wagon to him... I think that division is just gonna be absolute magic to watch."
