Mother Teresa To Become Saint In Vatican City

VATICAN CITY (CBSMiami) -- Pope Francis is set to declare Mother Teresa a saint, just two decades after her death.

Hundreds of thousands of faithful are expected to gather at the Vatican on Sunday to witness her canonization.

The Roman Catholic nun from Albania dedicated her life to helping the poor in India. After she died, Pope John Paul II fast-tracked her to sainthood for the miracle of healing two sick people.

Her devotion to the people most in need earned her the Nobel Peace prize in 1979.
