Mother Arrested For Pimping Out Teen Daughter

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A South Florida mother is behind bars for pimping out her teen daughter and giving her drugs.

Suzanne Bobbie Calana was arrested last week along with suspected drug dealer Lawrence Martin on human trafficking charges.

Calana's daughter told Miami police that her mother had been giving her drugs since she was twelve years old.

That isn't the worst thing, though. Police say that Calana forced her teen daughter into prostitution.

The girl told police that she would often sell her body in order to give money to her mother for buying drugs.

Calana and Martin have been charged with human trafficking of a minor, interfering with custody and furnishing drugs to a minor.
