Police find no gun or threat after incident at St. Bartholomew Catholic School, police say

Second-grade Miramar student did not bring loaded magazine to school, police say

Miramar police responded to St. Bartholomew Catholic School on Monday after administrators reported that a second-grade student was found with a bag containing a loaded gun magazine. School officials immediately contacted police and followed established safety protocols.

Following a thorough investigation, the Archdiocese reported that police found no gun or threat on campus. 

Authorities confirmed that there is no active threat, and no charges are being filed at this time.

The incident remains under administrative review. 

No further information has been released.
