Miccosukee Tribe Of Indians Of Florida Kicks Off Annual Thanksgiving Turkey Distribution

It is the beginning of the Holiday Season and on November 16th the Miccosukee Tribe of Indians of Florida kicked off their Annual Thanksgiving Turkey Distribution.

In support of the South Florida Community The Miccosukee Tribe, Cheyney Brothers and Miami-Dade County distributed several hundred turkeys as part of their annual 5,000 turkey giveaway at the West Dade Community Center.

Secretary Gabriel Osceola attended the event and was happy to be back with a familiar crowd of South Floridians. Commissioner Suarez and Secretary Gabriel Osceola greeted guests and danced with some in order to celebrate the beginning of the Holiday Season.

This Turkey Giveaway has been taking place for several years and it allows 5,000 families to have a nice Thanksgiving Turkey meal.
