Miami Weather: Hot & Humid With Scattered Showers, Mostly Sunny Weekend

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Hot and steamy Friday with afternoon highs in the low 90s.

Another round of late afternoon and evening storms, some heavy with the possibility of damaging winds and hail were expected in our area.

A cold front will move in overnight, sweeping the storms out and bringing with it much drier and slightly cooler air to start the weekend.

Saturday and Mother's Day Sunday will see less hot temps in the mid-80s with lower humidity, and a pleasant ocean breeze.
