Miami Traffic 7th Worst In Nation

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - It's not your imagination, traffic in Miami is as bad as you think.

TomTom, a leader in navigation, traffic and map products, used GPS data and found Miami had the 7th most congested traffic in America.

The study found that Miami's traffic costs commuters about 125 hours per year. By the way, the worst traffic day in 2015 was December 3rd thanks to Miami Art Week.

As for who had the worst traffic in the U.S., Los Angeles took the top spot, followed by San Francisco, New York, Seattle and San Jose.

Globally, traffic gridlock in Mexico City came in first, followed by Bangkok, Istanbul, Rio De Janeiro and Moscow. Interesting, Los Angeles came in at number 10 on this list.
