CORAL GABLES (CBSMiami) -- Four Miami residents are facing a slew of charges in connection to bank related fraud.

Detectives said the group deceived banks into believing that they were account holders who had their accounts raided when they had made all of the withdrawals themselves.

They also ran a credit card fraud scheme to defraud financial institutions out of more than $100,000.

Those arrested have been identified as Gabriel Perfecto Salcedo, 20; Allen David Salcedo, 22; Jerry Tejeda, 28; and Saly Aponte Tejeda, 23.

The arrests come at the culmination of an investigation run by the Coral Gables Police Department, the United States Secret Service, and the Attorney General's Office of Statewide Prosecution.

Those arrested  face more than 40 years in prison if convicted on all charges.
