Miami Police Officer Injured During Foot Chase Of Robbery Suspect

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - A Miami police officer was injured while pursuing a robbery suspect.
It happened at NW 17th Avenue and 35th Street.
When the officer spotted a man that matched the description of a robbery suspect, that man took off running. The officer gave chase on foot. However, he fell and injured himself.
The officer was treated on the scene, the suspect managed to get away.
