Miami Police Investigating Deadly Shooting

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Miami police are investigating a shooting that left one person dead.

It took place around 1:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon at 1440 Northwest 69 Street.

Detectives said several people were outside the home at the time of the shooting.

The victim was approached by a man who shot hit several times following an argument, police said.

The victim was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital where he died.

Neighbors who were coming home from church had to make it past crime scene tape to get to their homes.

"I'm glad my sons were in the house because there's a lot of things been happening in the area," said Antone Ivory.
