Miami On "America's Favorite Cities" List

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – There is no secret that Miami is the ultimate spot to party.

The "Magic City" was ranked number one in the Party Destination category on Travel + Leisure's 'America's Favorite Cities 2014' survey.

The magazine received 50,000 votes, ranking 38 cities in dozens of categories like Top Cities Overall, People-watching, Passionate Sports Fans, and Flea Markets.

Miami can be spotted a few times on the list, receiving credit for its attractive, cool and stylish people. It was also recognized for its cocktail bars and single scene.

Miami was also recognized for its spa and beach getaways.

However, the city was infamous on the People list, landing second place for snobbery and third for rudeness.
