MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- A Miami mother is in trouble with the law, accused of stabbing her daughter.

A judge on Friday set 47-year old Odalys Rodriguez's bond to $8,500 after she had been arrested on May 31st.

Meantime, her daughter, Sheila Barbara Sanchez Rodriguez, 18,  remains at Jackson Memorial Hospital in stable condition.

Miami Police said she is recovering from her wounds.

Miami Police Officer Kenia Fallat said Sunday Odalys had called police saying her daughter had been stabbed. The call led police to a home at NW 2nd St. and 60th Ave.

Neighbors said Rodriguez was frantically asking for help.

"When she come out, she say my daughter is very, very bad. Please help me and call me the police and come the rescue and everybody," said neighbor Claudia Alvarez on Monday.

Odalys is charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and resisting officers without violence.
