Miami Herald Endorses Murphy Over Rubio For Senate

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Our news partners at the Miami Herald have made their endorsements for key state races

The most intriguing of all: they recommend Congressman Patrick Murphy.

They have a history of endorsing Sen. Marco Rubio, but cite a long list of what their editorial board calls "disappointments" during his senate tenure.

A new poll from Quinnipiac University shows Rubio leading Murphy, 49 to 47 percent.

But that's essentially a tie, since the numbers are within the margin of error.
