Miami Heat Has Unbelievably Low Odds to Win 2016 Title
The Miami Heat's early odds to win the 2015-16 NBA championships are listed at 40 to 1, according to Bovada.
This is despite returning an expected starting five of Goran Dragic, Dwyane Wade, Luol Deng, Chris Bosh, and Hassan Whiteside with Josh McRoberts and Justise Winslow off the bench.
A staggering 12 teams have better odds than the Heat including four in the Eastern Conference, led by the Cleveland Cavaliers at 11 to 4.
Further boggling the mind is the fact their odds have gone down in the last few weeks despite retaining all of their own primary free agents and drafting Winslow at No. 10 overall.
Offshore bookmaker Bovada.lv has dropped the Heat's 2016 NBA championship odds from 33-1 on June 17 to 40-1 in the line released Monday.
