Miami Gardens Police Investigating Shooting Of Teenager

MIAMI GARDENS (CBSMiami) - A shooting in Miami Gardens sent a teenager to the hospital.
Police took two young men into custody.

A friend of the shooting victim told CBS4 he would be okay, but Jackson Memorial Hospital has not released an update on his condition.
Numerous police officers were at the scene, in the parking lot of an apartment off Northwest 22nd Avenue and 210th Street early Sunday morning.
The victim's friend added that the incident was an accident.
"He was just over here chilling with friends and stuff," said Ryan Hobbs. "They were just playing with a gun. It was an accident."
CBS4 News reached out to Miami Gardens police for more information but have not heard back from them.
