Miami Gardens Police Investigating Double Shooting

MIAMI GARDENS (CBSMiami) – Police are investigating a double shooting in Miami Gardens.

According to police, officers responded to the area of the Northwest 176th Street and Northwest 27th Avenue in reference to shots fired.

After arriving, police say they found two people suffering from gunshot wounds.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue transported two patients by helicopter to Ryder Trauma Center.

Police say their condition is unknown at this time.

An investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
