DAVIE (CBSMiami) -- Miami Dolphins coach Joe Philbin announced a couple of roster moves on Monday a day after his team defeated Washington 17-10 in Week 1.

Running back and return man LaMike James was released and tight end Jake Stoneburner was elevated from the practice squad to the 53-man roster.

James fumbled a kickoff in his debut with the Dolphins yesterday. While Stoneburner figures to add depth at tight end, a position of need with the health of Dion Sims in question after a nasty fall yesterday after laying out for a potential touchdown catch.

"[Stoneburner] knows the offense well," Philbin says, and "has good hands."
