MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Miami Dade College will host Democratic presidential hopefuls for a debate next year.

The debate between the candidates is set for March 9, 2016 at its Kendall Campus, located at 11011 SW 104th Street.

The debate will take place in the Building 7 Gymnasium. More details are set to be released in the coming weeks.

High profile political candidates are not something new to the college.

During the last two months, the college has hosted Vice President Joe Biden and His Majesty King Felipe VI of Spain.

Earlier in the year, the campus hosted presidential campaign announcements for Republican presidential hopefuls like U.S. Senator Marco Rubio and former Florida Governor Jeb Bush.
