NEW YORK (CBS) -- On Monday, Dec. 4, CBS News' Jeff Glor will take over as the new anchor of the "CBS Evening News."

Glor grew up watching Walter Cronkite near Buffalo, New York, and has been a longtime CBS News correspondent.
