MDPD Are Investigating Armed Robbery

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Miami-Dade Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place at a Subway last May.

According to police, the man walked into Subway located at 28700 South Dixie Highway, armed with a handgun. He jumped over the counter and ordered the employees to open the registers. Police said he got away with $500.

MDPD  believe this is the same subject from other commercial robberies in the area based on his method  and his description.

Police describe him as a black male, about 18 to 25-years old.

The victim's, Jasilyn Cowart, 26, and Jeaney Saltinas, 18, were not injured.

Investigators are seeking the assistance of the community in identifying and/or locating the robber.
