MIAMI (CBSMiami) - An armed man and his accomplice rubbed a pair of massage parlor workers the wrong way and made off with thousands of dollars in cash and jewelry.

Two men entered the Kloud 9 Concepts, at 13205 SW 137th Avenue, on November 21st just before 10:30 PM.

The owner of the massage parlor, Silvia Romero, told CBS4's Peter D'Oench that she thought the gunmen might take a life.

"One of them was very aggressive and told a gunman to shoot me and kill me because I was not following orders. I think he needed to kill somebody. It was very terrifying. I think they were on drugs. This was traumatic. You can't work in peace. They did threaten to come back and kill us. I had a gun in my face," said Romero.

Dorisel Esteva, 27, and Stephanie Mares, 24, were working at the time.

At gunpoint, Romero and two other employees were forced into a storage room. The men then ransacked the rooms and went through the women's purses. The men also ordered the women to remove their jewelry.

Mares, who did not want to show all of her face on camera, said she was afraid the thieves would kill her and the other employees.

"They stormed in, they came in, they put us in a room and started like fondling us for our stuff and if we had anything valuable and they just took everything," she said. "It was pretty traumatizing."

Romero said, "The gunmen grabbed one employee by the hair and dragged her inside and then they put us in the closet and put a gun to my face and pressed me against a wall. They made us take all of our jewelry off. I was thinking I need to protect my employees and make sure no one gets hurt. We felt violated. We were not doing anything out on the street and they came to our territory and assaulted us."

"They took $4,000 in cash," she said. "I had just cashed out my credit cards. And they took all of the jewelry and cash from the purses and house keys and car keys," she said. "They left us with zero."

"I think they were in their mid to late 20s and one of them had a cloud tattoo on his neck wrapping around the back side of his neck," she said. "I think it was an inside job because they had a lot of information about where the safe was and they had a lot of information about that time I was going to be there dealing with the cash from the credit cards."

Investigators said the men then tried to remove a safe that was secured to the wall but were unsuccessful.

They then ran out of the shop, with about $6,000 of stolen property, and made off in a dark blue Honda Civic hatchback that may a 1996 model.

But Mares said it's more than the stolen property that will cost.

"And even just the aftermath, you know, of taking copies of keys and stuff like that cost even more money," she told D'Oench.

Mares was afraid and told D'Oench fear was running through her mind during the robbery.

"Hopefully they don't kill us or shoot us because I have family to take care of," she said.

Surveillance cameras captured both of the men's faces. Anyone who recognizes them is urged to call Crime Stoppers at (305) 471-TIPS.
