MIAMI (AP) — The Miami Marlins have activated first baseman Justin Bour from the 60-day disabled list, putting him in position to play for the first time since July 2.

Bour has been sidelined with an ankle injury. He was batting .268 with 15 home runs and 46 RBIs when he was hurt. Even after missing the Marlins' last 57 games entering Tuesday, Bour still ranks fourth on the team in homers this season.

Bour was not in Tuesday's starting lineup against Philadelphia.

Also Tuesday, Miami recalled left-handers Justin Nicolino and Hunter Cervenka from Triple-A New Orleans, and outfielder Yefri Perez from Double-A Jacksonville.

Right-hander Kendry Flores was designated for assignment. Flores allowed one hit in three innings in one appearance this season with Miami.
