Man Tries To Rob Store With Toy Gun

PEMBROKE PARK (CBSMiami) -- Broward Sheriff's Deputies are searching for a man caught on surveillance video trying to rob a Pembroke Park store with a toy gun twice.

According to deputies, the man walked into a RaceTrac convenience store on February 9th at 1:06 a.m. The man robbed the clerks at gunpoint and got away with almost $200.

The next night, the same man walked into the store at 11:44 p.m. with a gun in his hand and yelled, "Where the money at? I'm serious, give me the money."

This time the store clerks noticed the man's gun didn't look real.

One of the clerks asked the robber, "Are you going to rob me with a toy gun?"

The robber then walked out without any money.

Deputies describe him as a black male, approximately 5' 10", about 180 pounds, and appears to be in his 30s.
