Man Takes Plea Deal In Beating Death Of Boyfriend

MIAMI (CBSMiami/AP) - As part of a deal with Miami-Dade prosecutors, a Miami man has been sentenced to 15 years for the beating death of his boyfriend.

On Thursday, Andrew Cummings, 37, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder.

With credit for time served, he faces about four more years of prison.

Prosecutors say Cummings fatally beat Arsenio Lopez at a Miami condo in January 2006.
