Man Stung By Bees More Than 150 Times In South Florida

JUPITER FARMS (CBSMiami/AP) — Most people swell up after one bee bite, but what about 150 times? Well, South Florida officials say bees stung a man well more than that.

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue reports that paramedics responded to a Jupiter Farms neighborhood Monday afternoon. They saw a man being attacked by bees in an open field and chased the insects away with foam and carbon monoxide extinguishers.

A fire rescue spokesman says the man was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. His name and condition weren't immediately released.
