Man Struck, Killed While Walking Along I-95

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - A man walking along I-95 was struck and killed Monday morning.

The Florida Highway Patrol said the man was walking along the southbound lanes of I-95 near the Golden Glades interchange when he was struck by a passing vehicle just after 6:30 a.m.

The man died on the scene. The driver who hit him didn't stop.

The FHP temporarily shut down southbound I-95 in the area for their investigation. They urged drivers to find an alternative route.
