Man Rescued From Burning Kendall Town House

KENDALL (CBSMiami) - One person was taken to the hospital after he was pulled from a smoky town house fire.

A dozen fire rescue units were sent to the fire at SW 104th Avenue and 80th Street around 9:30 a.m. to put out the flames.

A neighbor told CBS4 the man who lived in the home, who is in his 60s, was rescued by police and taken to Kendall Regional Medical Center's Trauma Care Unit.

There is no word on the extent of the man's injuries or the cause of the fire.
