Man Plunges To Death At Miami Beach High Rise

MIAMI BEACH (CBSMiami) - A man plunged to his death at a Miami Beach high rise apartment building.

It happened late Sunday at the Flamingo Towers at 1504 Bay Road.

Police have not said if the man, who fell seven stories from the north tower, jumped, fell or was pushed but did give an update on Monday morning.

"No info on victims or witnesses," said Ernesto Rodriguez with the Miami Beach Police Department. "It's a death investigation no foul play is suspected at this time. Being looked at as of now as a suicide."

The apartments are popular with visitors who choose not to stay in hotels.

"Seriously, what I read online was that the Flamingo was really like a crazy place to be, like there's a lot of things happening, but I didn't know that I was going to actually see it," said "Vanessa visiting from Toronto.

In February of this year, a woman was killed in the apartment complex in a domestic dispute.

In August, 2015, a man was shot and killed the building's skyway.
