Man Helps Co-Worker After Scaffolding Collapses In Hallandale Beach

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Two workers, dozens of floors above ground, had quite the scare Tuesday when the scaffold they were working on dropped on one side.

The workers were on the scaffold fixing eroded concrete 30-floors above high at the Beach Club in Hallandale at 1800 South Ocean Drive.

When one end of the platform fell, one of the workers jumped to a balcony, then threw a rope to another man who was then pulled to safety.

Both men did not have to be transported.
