LAKE WORTH (CBS4/AP) - A man running from Palm Beach County deputies went on a home-invasion spree in Lake Worth.

Donald Howard, 43, was arrested after deputies say he broke into multiple homes in his neighborhood while evading police for nearly two-and-a-half hours, according to the Sun-Sentinel.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said deputies visited Howard's home to serve six unidentified warrants, including three felonies.

Upon seeing them, authorities say Howard drove away before crashing and running away. Howard found a nearby unoccupied home, where he took jewelry, put on a new shirt and drank three Capri Sun juice pouches.
