Man Stabbed To Death On Miami Beach

MIAMI BEACH (CBSMiami) - An investigation is underway after a fatal stabbing in a South Beach apartment.
Police were called to an apartment at Alton Road and 14th Street just before 7:30 a.m. When they arrived they found a man who had been stabbed to death apparently after a violent struggle. It was a neighbor who called the police.
The apparent murder was out of character for the area according to neighbors.
"I think its peculiar. It doesn't happen all that often," said Fred Margolis.
A "male subject fled the scene" when officers arrived, according to police.
The name of the man who died has not been released.
