Man Crushed In Recycling Plant

WINTER GARDEN (CBSMiami/AP) - A man sorting cardboard at a Winter Garden recycling plant was crushed to death after he got caught up inside a bailing machine.

Winter Garden police Lt. Scott Allen said the man "ended up inside and got compacted" at the Robert Wallick Associates Inc. recycling company just before 9 a.m. Monday.

Police have not released the man's name, pending notification of his family.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has been notified. Police are investigating the death as an accident.
