MIAMI BEACH (CBSMiami/AP) — After telling a judge that he is "God's will," bond was denied for a 30-year old man accused of killing a man he lived with inside a Miami Beach condo.

Jonathan Alexander Alonso is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Louis Piper.

During his bond court appearance before Judge Mindy Glazer, Alonso made a rambling statement before his mic was cut off.

"You need to make whatever decisions you need to work between yourselves. You work it out between your own selves. I am selfless and I am God's will and that's all I follow," he told the judge. "So you work out between your own selves. Because you're the ones being watched."

Miami Beach Police said Alonso disabled the recording devices in the interview room and declined to give a statement after his arrest.

Last Wednesday, a co-worker of Piper asked the manager of the building where he lived to check on him. According to an affidavit, Alonso stopped them from entering Piper's condo, then rushed past them in the lobby.

Police found Piper's body. An autopsy determined that he died from stab wounds to his head and neck.

The affidavit says Alonso had Piper's credit cards and wounds on both hands when police arrested him Friday.

Court records show last September, Piper filed a complaint in civil court against Alonso saying he lived rent free with him for nearly a year and a half. Piper claims he had asked Alonso to leave the condo for good but he would not.

Police believe Piper's dead body was in the condo four or five days before it was discovered.
