Man Arrested In 2012 Postal Worker Robbery Case

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Authorities say they've made an arrest in the 2012 armed robbery of a postal worker in Miami.

Jefferson Estime allegedly took part in the robbery which occurred near the 6600 block of Northeast 1st Place on November 20, 2012.

Authorities believe Estime drove others away after the robbery.

Estime is now facing federal charges of Robbery of a postal employee; assaulting, resisting or impeding certain federal employees and brandishing a firearm in furtherance of a crime.

The maximum sentence he could get if found guilty would be life in prison.
