Man Accused In Seminole Reservation Shooting Faces Judge

HOLLYWOOD (CBSMiami) -- A man accused in a shooting on a Seminole reservation appeared before a judge Tuesday morning.
Israel John, 26, is charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
Police said he shot 29-year old Ricky Odell six times in the back yard of a home on the reservation in Hollywood Monday morning. It is unclear what prompted the shooting.
Rescue crews rushed Odell to Memorial Regional hospital in critical condition.
Chopper 4 was over the scene Monday morning where about four police cars could be seen parked near the home located at 1300 Atlanta Street. Investigators were seen in the backyard of the home.
John s being held on a $10,000 bond.
