Man & 6-Year Old Injured In Miami Shooting

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- A man and 6-year old child were injured in a shooting in Miami Thursday evening.

It all happened at NW 8th Avenue and 69th Street.

Miami Police said the man was shot in the legs and back.

The boy was grazed by a bullet.

Both were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital. The boy is expected to be okay. No word yet on the condition of the man who was shot multiple times.

Police were speaking to people in the area hoping to get more information about what happened.

It is not clear if any arrests have been made.
