Lottery: Miami Ticket Holder Wins Jackpot

TALLAHASSEE (CBSMiami/AP) — A lucky South Florida lottery ticket holder just hit the jackpot.

A Florida lottery game player selected all six winning numbers to win a jackpot worth $12 million, the Florida Lottery said Saturday.

The winning tickets were purchased in Miami, lottery officials said.

The 25 tickets matching five numbers won $5,504.00 each. Another 1,415 tickets matching four numbers won $76.50 each, and 29,268 tickets won $5.00 for picking two numbers.

The numbers drawn were 12-16-23-33-46-50.

No tickets matched all five numbers in the Powerball game, so the jackpot has rolled over to $90 million.

Three tickets won $10,000.00 for picking 4-of-5 plus the Powerball; 57 tickets won $100 each for picking 4-of-5;  79 tickets won $100 each for picking 3-of-5 with the Powerball number; 2,955tickets won $7.00 each for picking 3-of-5; 1,634 tickets won $7 each for matching two numbers plus the Powerball; 10,477 tickets won $4 each for picking 1-of-5 and the Powerball; and 21,317 won $4 for matching the Powerball.

The numbers drawn Friday night were 8-12-34-43-56 and the Powerball was 9.
