Local Leaders Unveil One Of Wilton Manors Oldest Parks

WILTON MANORS (CBSMiami) -- Local leaders unveiled a new and improved version of a Wilton Manors park.

Mickel Park, one of the City's oldest parks, reopened Saturday morning.

Local leaders who were set to attend the gran opening included Mayor Gary Resnick and Vice Mayor Scott Newton, City Manager Leigh Ann Henderson.

Grand opening event activities include a live concert, recreation demonstrations, carbon monoxide detector give-a-ways, vendor booths and food trucks.

The park is located at 2675 NW 7th Ave.

The grand re-opening event lasts until 2 p.m.
