LeBron's Historic Night By The Numbers

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - There's scoring outbursts, and then there's what Miami Heat superstar LeBron James did to the Charlotte Bobcats Monday night at the AmericanAirlines Arena.

James scored a team and personal record 61 points in the game, but that was just one of the countless historic numbers that came from James' drubbing of a solid Bobcats defense (top 10 in the NBA).

Here's a look at some of the unreal numbers James put up Monday night.
61 points - personal and Miami Heat franchise record
37 points in second half - Miami Heat record
25 points in third quarter - Miami Heat record
22 field goals made - Heat record
8 three-pointers made - tied AmericanAirlines Arena and personal record
0 - number of dunks LeBron had in the game
78.8 percent - LeBron's effective field-goal percentage (added weight given to 3-point shots)

And a few dubious numbers for the Bobcats:
3 - only three teams in NBA history have allowed two players to score 60 points in a game in a single season. Charlotte (2014), New York Knicks (1961), New York Knicks (1960).
3 - Bobcats have been the opponent the last three times an NBA player scored at least 55 points.
