PALM BEACH (CBSMiami) -- Passengers on a plane in Palm Beach were evacuated Thursday afternoon.

Federal aviation officials said emergency slides were used to evacuate the passengers on board American Airlines flight 1822 at Palm Beach International Airport around 3 p.m.

From there, the passengers were taken to a terminal at the airport.

Reports of fluid leaking from the aircraft prompted the evacuation on runway 10 which was closed down.

No injuries were reported, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.

The flight was originally headed to Philadelphia International Airport.

It is unclear what prompted the leak.
