ORLANDO (CBSMiami) - Pink slips will be going out to nearly three dozen employees of Darden Restaurants.

The Orlando based parent company of Bahama Breeze, Olive Garden and LongHorn Steakhouse said the 30 employees targeted for termination all worked at its headquarters.

Company spokesman Rich Jeffers says the cuts came in several departments and will give Darden a "flatter support structure."

The company is also realigning positions in employee relations, guest relations and talent acquisition from corporate into individual restaurant brands.

In November, Darden laid off 60 employees. Jeffers says those moves eliminated layers of management and put executives closer to the restaurants and ground-level employees.
