Larry Blustein Inducted Into Broward County Sports Hall of Fame

South Florida High School Sports' own Larry Blustein was honored and inducted into the Broward County Sports Hall of Fame Tuesday night at a formal banquet held at the Broward Convention Center.

Blustein, who was among eight new inductees - including former Miami Heat guard Keyon Dooling (Dillard/Cardinal Gibbons) and late BCAA sports director Damian Hutenhoff - entered the distinguished group for his outstanding service as a working member of the sports media.

Affectionately known as "Blu", Blustein has covered sports for various publications for over 45 years. His wealth of knowledge overflows and his friendly demeanor and welcoming nature endears quickly endears him to everyone he meets.

Blustein has worked for SFHSSports since its inception and has been one of the driving forces behind the publication becoming South Florida's leading prep sports publication.
