La Canfora: 'The Miami Dolphins Will Not Lose' This Weekend
CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora brought some Dolphins jokes on the Big O Show Friday afternoon.
"I think we should start the show with a bold prediction because people have been down there," La Canfora said. "I know it's been a rough week. So, can I just go out on a limb and say the Miami Dolphins will not lose a football game this weekend? You can take that to Vegas baby.
In all seriousness, the NFL Insider wonders whether Dan Campbell can help fix the Dolphins' problems.
"Does it solve shematic issues? Does it solve the Suh conundrum? Does it turn Ryan Tannehill into a down hill passer? Does it make somebody else on that roster besides Landry look like they can catch a football? I don't know. Does it create an offensive line that plays as a unit and looks stuck in a determined? I have my reservations, but hopefully it stems the bleeding, and hopefully it makes them a more competitive football team and they do exhibit some more winning characteristics.
"When I see a team in Week 5 and the first answer is Oklahoma drills, I'm just like okay. You want to do that the first training camp practice? I got you I guess. I don't know. I think smart trumps that mentality."
