Kraft Recalls Macaroni & Cheese Over Possible Metal Pieces

MIAMI (CBSMiami)--  Kraft food company issued a recall for hundreds of thousands of cases of their macaroni and cheese boxed dinners.

The company said Tuesday they are recalling 242,000 cases due to the possibility that some boxes may contain small pieces of metal.

The recall applies to the 7.25 oz box size of the Original flavor with the Best When Used By" dates of September 18, 2015 through October 11, 2015, with the code "C2" directly below the date on each individual box.

The recalled items were shipped to customers in the U.S. and several other countries.

The company said no injuries have been reported but they had received eight calls from consumers about the issue.

They said anyone who purchased the recalled item should return it to the store where they bought it for an exchange or full refund.
